My Dad came to visit his granddaughters (I know my place) for a week. It was so fun to have him here! Although he came with a suitcase full of presents (literally), the girls were genuinely happy to have their Grandpa here to see them. Ashley was out of school for Spring Break, so she spent a lot of time with us, and was on her best behavior ever... maybe it was because of the 3 watches Grandpa had just given her, but I am hoping it is going to last! Katie had school, and it was Earth Week, so there were a lot of activities that were fun for her and fun for Grandpa to see her involved in. He was incredibly impressed with her school and the teachers that he saw in action. He understands why living here is such a draw for us... the school alone is phenomenal. Since he had been here a year and a half ago, we didn't feel like we had a lot of the big touristy things to go and see. We did go up to the Citadel where Dad got a great view of the city and the Danube. We went to the Vasarcsarnok (the covered market), where he had been before, but he wanted to pick up some Hungarian gifts. We went to the Dohany Synagogue (see other post). Other than that, we just enjoyed having Dad here, and Aaron enjoyed beating us all in Phase 10... every night! Katie and Ashley loved playing Pretty, Pretty Princess with him the most!

Your dad is the cutest grandpa ever!!! I love the pretty pretty princess crown on his head. I'm so glad he got to come and visit.
I miss you. I almost hate to read your blog because I realize that I need you guys. Pick Me! Pick Louisville!!! (do I sound like Meredith from Grays Anatamoy?) You had better get that joke!
Cute pictures.
