We took the speedy train from Tokyo to Kyoto for a wonderful day trip. Although it was a bit chillier than we would have liked, we loved this beautiful city. It is one of the few cities that was unharmed during WWII, so it's old world charm is abundant. We were delighted to see so many people dress up in geisha costume and walk around town. There weren't as many cherry blossoms in bloom as there were in Tokyo, but it was still so charming!
