We spent our October holiday in Bali, Indonesia. For the first few days we stayed in a villa in Ubud, which is the cultural center of the island. We spent a lot of time up and down the main street in town and walked in and out of shops and admired the beautiful temples. There was delicious food and yummy drinks in coconuts! We stopped at the fish spa and had our feet nibbled on! It felt so funny and ticklish. The kids loved it! The highlight was definitely the Monkey Forest. It was an unreal place with monkeys EVERYWHERE!!! We carried around bananas to feed the monkeys, which was fun and crazy. We also had to be careful of the thieving monkeys.... one of them took a water bottle straight out of Katie's hands, unscrewed the lid and drank it up! We also had a scary experience for poor Sophie. Aaron was carrying her in the backpack when a monkey climbed right onto his shoulders right in front of her face! She screamed bloody murder, but we had a great laugh over it! They were certainly cheeky little monkeys!!
Dinner the first night... Katie was serenaded.

Fun times at the Fish Spa.
Our private pool was amazing! We had a great time swimming and then walking right back into our room! It was super private and tropical.
