New York City (The Drive) ... April 1, 2011

For Spring Break we decided to drive to New York and visit Heather's dad and visit the city.  We have been before as a family, but only have visited a couple of the sites and have only visited in the Winter.  So this was an opportunity to try to see more of the city in weather that is much more conducive to traveling.  I had to work for the first few days at Heather's dad's house, but we got to spend a few days in the city at the end of the week.  Plus, Heather was able to spend a lot of time at her dad's house organizing the attic, among other things.
We left on Friday late afternoon and drove about half of the 11 hour drive, stopping somewhere in Pennsylvania.  The kids shared a bed for at least part of the night.
