Nemzeti Vagta ... May 31, 2008

We ventured out for a bit to witness the Nemzeti Vagta, The National Gallop - Historical horse race and festival, at Heroe's Square in downtown Budapest. It was hot, but we enjoyed walking down the street and viewing the different booths that various Hungarian cities sponsored and set up. And seeing the parade of horses gallop around the square in traditional Hungarian costumes was fun.
